Fans

Fans greatly assist the drying process and we often recommend using a fan in conjunction with a dehumidifier.  They work in two ways:

1.  Directing  dry air from dehumidifiers to the affected areas.  The different designs of the fans below enable targeted air flow towards floors, ceilings, walls or into voids.

2.  Removing saturated air from affected areas, directing it back into the dehumidifier for drying.  A circular air flow around a room will ensure optimum drying of all areas of the room.  Often a dehumidifier alone will not facilitate equal drying of areas, for example in the corners of rooms where without assistance of an air mover, the air may remain stagnant and troublesome damp spots linger even while the rest of the room is drying fast.  Air movement is essential to achieving even drying in the quickest time possible.
